TRAK Studios is an idea that evolved following the production of the feature film The Art Of Incarceration.

Over the past five years, Theo McMahon (Bundjalung), Robby Wirramanda (Wergaia), Alex Siddons and Kylie Pascoe have collaborated in different ways to tell the story of The Art Of Incarceration, and during the feature documentary’s world premiere at the Gold Coast Film Festival in April 2021, we decided to acknowledge that collaboration with the formation of a company to ensure the IP to all our stories remains in the right hands.

Working remotely from regional and metropolitan Victoria, TRAK Studios are currently in development on several documentary projects, and are in discussion with various corporate and government organisations to create short clips that visually explain First Nations Peoples connection to country.

We are also in development on the collaboration’s second feature document, and are in discussion with various corporate and government organisations to create short clips that visually explain First Nations Peoples connection to country.

It was important to all of us that the collaboration between the Indigenous and non Indigenous members of our team is recognised legally, and respected ethically – and from that was born TRAK Studios.
